(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Witnesses said after the news of killings spread in Sumbal and adjoining areas of Bandipora district, hundreds of people came out on roads and held anti-India protests. They said, Government forces responded with baton charge and tear smoke shells, resulting in the injuries to five people.
The people were demanding the punishment of the culprits who martyred the two innocent Kashmiri youth.
The deceased youth have been identified as Irfan Ahmad Ganaie and Irshad Ahmad Dar, both residents of Markundal village in Sumbal area, 25 kms from Srinagar.
Minister for Higher Education Mohammad Akbar Lone said, "The Army should not be given full authority to do whatever they want in any manner they like."
Tens of thousands of Kashmiris are martyred by the Indian occupied forces in Kashmir during the past twenty three years.
Kashmiri pro-freedom leaders strongly condemned this act of Indian army.
